System Requirements

The following is a list of minimum system requirements

Please note: for systems running Microsoft SQL Server 2000 or SQL Server Express 2005 - we recommend a Pentium 4 2GHz or greater with 512 MB Ram (generally for systems with 5+ terminals). This does not apply to demo version.

Operating System

• Microsoft Windows XP Pro/Home/Corp SP2 x86 (32-bit)

Hardware

• Minimum
  • 256 MB System Memory
  • Celeron 1 Ghz or better (Pentium 4 highly recommended)
  • Monitor capable of 1024x768 screen resolution
• Recommended
  • 1 GB System Memory
  • Intel Core 2 Architecture (or equivalent)
  • Monitor capable of 1024x768 screen resolution at full color

Network

Users with more than one terminal must ensure that the terminals (and print servers, if applicable) are connected to a stable, reliable and secure network. Wired networks are preferred for maximum reliability; a properly configured wireless network will also suffice.

PCCharge Payment Server users running IP transactions must ensure that a reliable DSL internet connection is available and that a backup modem is available for dial-up processing in the event of network interruption.
